Flood alert

Storm Ashley bringing strong winds, large waves and spray overtopping on the coast throughout the morning may lead to flooding.
Highest tide level is expected to be at Fleetwood, Larkholme, Broadwater, Cleveleys, Rossall Beach, Anchorsholme, Blackpool and Revoe at 2:08 AM on 21/10/2024. Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of this time.
Waves are forecast to overtop coastal defences at Fleetwood, Larkholme, Broadwater, Cleveleys, Rossall Beach, Anchorsholme, Blackpool and Revoe.
After this tide has passed the weather is more settled and no flooding is expected.
Be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
This message will be updated by 8:00 AM on 21/10/2024, or as the situation changes.
