Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Higher than normal tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from 09:30 to 13:30 on Friday 7 November 2025. 
Flooding will be localised and low lying land near the coast is expected to be most affected, particularly around Dover, Folkestone and St Margaret's at Cliffe. The detailed forecast is for a peak tide of 3.65m AoD at Dover at 11:30. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded . 
This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 07 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
