Thursday's early morning tide at 01:30 on 11/04/2024 is higher than normal due to unsettled weather with strong South Westerly Force 5 winds. The weather will not change tide table values. The total forecast tide is 7.10 metres Chart Datum (3.58 mAOD) at Newhaven. Approximately 70cm lower than Monday evening. There will still be moderate waves, but only minimal flood impacts are now expected. Winds are forecast to be light and tides will now fall over the week ahead. We continue to monitor the forecast. We will re issue this Flood Alert if the risk of flooding becomes possible..
