Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Carry Bride river gauge as a result of Storm Ciara. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is expected around 08:00 Sunday 09/02/20 to low lying properties by Colne water at Lenches, around Waterside industrial estate and Green Road
Further rainfall is forecast through Sunday 09/02/20 morning . We expect river levels to remain high until midday on Sunday 09/02/20
We are closely monitoring the situation, our incident room is open. Our incident response staff are checking defences and clearing weed screens.
