Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding this afternoon.
Highest tide level is expected at 2:00 PM on 20/10/2024. Flooding is possible several hours either side of this time.
Areas most at risk include Rockcliffe, Longburgh, Port Carlisle, Bowness-on-Solway, Anthorn, Angerton and Skinburness areas..
We have closed flood gates at Skinburness Marsh.
Stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. Please don't put yourself or others at risk.
