Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Dauntsey Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around riverside properties on Old Sodom Lane, The Green and Dauntsey Green including Earl Danbys Primary School. Sodom Lane and the area around the Providance Chapel.
Further flooding is expected this evening as river levels are rising due to rainfall.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking rivers for blockages.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
This message will be updated by 4:00 AM on 25/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
