Warning no longer in force

River levels Dean Bottom Dike peaked at around 9pm on 02/04/2018 at levels where we might expect to have seen flooding of North Road, Kirkburton. The levels have been falling since then and have now fallen below levels of concern so this warning is now being removed. We are still closely monitoring the situation from the Leeds Incident Room which is still open. The Dean Bottom Dike catchment is currently saturated so low lying land, roads and fields may still be affected. Please remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. You can keep up‐to‐date with the latest information via https://flood‐warning information.service.gov.uk/warnings or the Met Office at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk.
