Flooding expected. Take action now.
Levels on Ea Beck remain high today (9/11/19) as a result of the heavy, persistent rainfall across the catchment. No significant rainfall is forecast in the next 24 hours, however we expect river levels to remain high especially in the lower catchments of Ea Beck.
There is still a potential risk of flooding to property and farmland. Areas most at risk are Church Lane and Mill Lane. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident room remains open. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and follow advice from emergency services. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 09/11/2019, or as the situation changes.
