Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels rose rapidly on the Ea Beck due to persistent heavy rainfall on Friday 20/10/23. Flooding is forecast to affect areas adjacent to South Elmsall, including Minsthorpe Lane. River levels are expected to remain high until around midnight but will gradually fall off through the night and into tomorrow as the rainfall eases.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
