This is an archived message. The status has changed more recently.
River levels are now falling steadily.
The forecast is dry for this evening and no further flood impacts are expected over the weekend. Further unsettled weather is likely from Monday onwards, and rivers will be very responsive to any additional significant rainfall.
Over the coming days we will have staff out checking our flood defences and we will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert if necessary.
Do not put yourself at risk by driving or walking through floodwater.
