Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels are now falling in the south Elmsall area and will continue to fall through the night and into tomorrow, 18/11/22. We are closely monitoring the situation and no further rainfall is currently forecast overnight or tomorrow. We therefore plan to remove this flood alert in the morning.

No further flooding to fields and roads is expected, however there may still be standing water so please continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.

This message will be updated by 08:00 on 18/11/22, or as the situation changes.
