Monday's early morning tide at 03:30 on 06/01/2025 is higher than normal due to unsettled weather, with strong Southerly Force 7 winds and large waves. The weather increases tide table values by 0.68 m. The total forecast tide is 5.25 metres Chart Datum (2.52 mAOD) at Portsmouth. For 30 minutes either side of high water, the tide could exceed the top of the main slipway and flood the road at Lower Quay, Fareham. Minor flooding at Eastern Parade is also expected. The lower end of Wallington Shore Road will also flood to a depth of up to 5 cm. No property flooding is expected. Monday afternoon's tide at 15:45 on 06/01/2025 is forecast to be 62 cm lower (1.9 mAOD). No further flood impacts are expected. We continue to monitor the forecast. We recommend that cars do not park at the lower end of Wallington Shore Road. We will remove this message by 12:00 on 06/01/2025.
