The Aldingbourne Rife is high, but slowly falling. No flood impacts are currently thought to be occuring south of the A29 Shripney Road. Saturday is forecast to remain dry. A small amount of rain (5-20mm) is possible Sunday, which should only cause river levels to rise by a few centimetres. However, a further 20-30mm of rain is forecast for Monday. River levels are expected to continue to slowly fall until Monday 13/11/2023, when river levels are expected to rise again. With the rest of November forecast to remain unsettled, the Aldingbourne Rife might not return to normal until the end of November. Some roads may be affected, please plan to avoid driving through routes vulnerable to flooding. We are running our pumps at Felpham and keeping grilles clear to help reduce the risk of flooding. We will re-issue this message if the risk of property flooding increases.
