Heavy rain has fallen in the Great Easton catchment causing the Great Easton Brook to rise. Levels are expected to remain high for several days. Low lying areas near to the Easton Brook are already flooded and we expect properties to be affected. Properties on Banbury Lane in Great Easton are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on Tuesday 26th November, or before if the situation changes.
