Groundwater levels across Salisbury Plain have continued to drop back, but remain well above normal. Some minor flooding of roads remains possible and septic tanks may not function effectively over the coming days. Rainfall that has fallen over the last few days is not expected to lead to a significant increase in the risk of groundwater flooding. Environment Agency staff will continue to monitor the situation.
