Thursday's afternoon tide at 12:30 on 02/01/2025 is forecast to be lower than recent days, and accompanied by light Northerly Force 4 winds. The weather still increases tide table values by 0.14 m. The total forecast tide is 6.62 metres Chart Datum (3.1 mAOD) at Newhaven. Over the weekend, strong winds and large waves are forecast to return, but with tides relatively low no more than minimal flood impacts are expected. We continue to monitor the forecast. We will re issue this Flood Alert if the risk of flooding increases.
