Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 10:30 PM on 26 October 2026.
Locations most affected by spray overtopping will be low lying land and roads from Hilbre Island and along the coast from West Kirby to Heswall. We are expecting that the high tide tomorrow afternoon, 27 October 2026 will meet the flood alert threshold. We are expecting higher than normal high tides over the next 2 days, and a result, we may issue further flood alerts and flood warnings.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on Tuesday 27 October or as the situation changes.
