Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Over the last 48 hours we have seen heavy rainfall over the Lincolnshire East Coast area. This means that the rivers are now rising which will lead to flooding of low lying land and roads close to the rivers. No further rain is forecast for the next few days, however we expect the rivers to remain high and flooding to gardens, driveways or outhouses is possible close to the rivers. Our forecasts indicate that flooding inside homes isn't likely and therefore flood warnings are not expected to be issued. We are constantly monitoring river levels and have staff in the field checking for and clearing blockages in this location. This message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 08/01/25, or before if the situation changes.
