The Western Rother is now falling, following Thursday's rain. Minor flood impacts could continue to affect fields, gardens and roads, while the river returns nearer to normal. A Flood Alert remains in force to describe minor flood impacts on the whole Western Rother. Very little rain is forecast for the next five days. The river should have returned close to a normal flow by Saturday 06/01/2024. If you see a blockage affecting the flow in the river, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will re issue this Flood Warning if the risk of property flooding increases.
