Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels are falling following rainfall from Storm Darragh. Flooding of low lying land is possible. Areas most at risk are those around the Little Ouse River from Rickinghall to Hockwold, including The Black Bourn, and River Thet from Attleborough to Thetford. The forecast for this week is dry, which will allow levels to start falling. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and are not expecting it to escalate. We will update this message by 4 pm today, Sunday 15th December 2024.
