Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High river levels tomorrow afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 09 February 2026 as a lot of rain is forecast (20mm).
River levels remain high from rainfall experienced over the last few weeks. More rain is forecast tomorrow Monday 9 February from around 15:00 until early hours of Tuesday morning. Flooding is affecting fields at Titchfield Hill with high water levels at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. While groundwater and river levels are currently so high, any intense rainfall events are now likely to cause surface water flooding in Titchfield High Street. More rain on Thursday could increase flood risk again. River levels may not fall for another few weeks.
We are closely monitoring the situation and managing water levels in the Titchfield Canal.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have Particularly properties close to the river in Titchfield.
This message will be updated by 2:00PM on 10 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
