Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels will remain high and flooding remains possible.
Flooding is possible this evening, 07/12/2024 and river levels will remain elevated throughout Sunday 08/12/2024.
Areas most at risk include riverside footpaths and low lying land and roads.
Further flooding is possible tomorrow as river levels are expected to remain high due to anticipated prolonged rainfall from Storm Darragh.
Warkworth flood gates are not currently planned to be closed.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
