Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels will remain high overnight following today’s rainfall. Flooding is possible on 07 February 2026 evening into 08 February 2026. Locations most affected are low lying land and roads near rivers, around East Farleigh but particularly at Lockmeadow and the underpasses at Maidstone Town Centre. No further heavy rainfall is forecast for tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 09:00 on Sunday 8 February 2026, or as the situation changes.
