Severe flooding expected. Take action immediately.
Severe flooding is continuing this evening and flood water is deep and fast flowing. Flooding is expected on 28 January 2026 . River levels have risen and it is not yet safe to return to your property. Staff from BCP and emergency services are onsite to assist you. Prepare to be away from your home overnight. Forecast levels will impact power to the site which has now been turned off due to flooding. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. River levels are beginning to peak and we will continue to monitor the situation closely. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities . Follow advice from emergency services and call 999 if in immediate danger . This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 29 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
