Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding throughout tonight.
Flooding is expected from 11:30 AM on 25/11/2024.
Areas most at risk include Stour Park Homes Site and Water Lane Farm.
Further flooding is expected throughout the night as river levels are high and forecast to rise further due to previous heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities, a rest centre has been set up at Kings Park Learning and Leisure Centre. King's Park Dr, Bournemouth BH7 6JD if required.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so.
Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car.
