Water levels on the River Test at Romsey and Testwood remain high but are stable having benefited from lower rainfall totals over the past few days. In the last 48 hours, there has been 6.57mm of rainfall recorded in Romsey, and 6.14mm at Testwood. The forecast for today (11/03/24) is for light rain this morning which may bring a further 3mm. Monday afternoon into Tuesday will be dry. Tuesday afternoon (12/03/24) a further 5-10mm of widespread rainfall is forecast. Given the saturated catchment conditions, the River Test and its tributaries may respond to further rainfall. We continue to monitor the situation and will reissue the flood alert and further advise as required.
