This message has been issued because some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas is likely today, Saturday 6th January. River levels are currently high, but the weather forecast is improving, and we expect levels to start returning to normal over the next few days. Take care on riverside footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation closely. We will update this message tomorrow, Sunday 7th January.
