High river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from overnight on 06 February 2026 .
River levels are rising in places following the recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are low lying roads and riverside areas along the River Mardyke between North Stifford and Purfleet-on-Thames.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Further rainfall is forecast so river levels may remain high.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
