Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are continuing to cause flooding today 27/01/2026, as a lot of rain (37mm) fell overnight. Flooding is affecting footpaths in Milford on Sea and isolated low-lying property next to the river at New Valley Road, Barnes Lane, High Street and Sea Road. River levels are beginning to fall slowly but remain high. During high water, the incoming tide will prevent the river from flowing out to sea. High tide is at 17:18 and 18:48. Milford Dam is operational. Ensure any flood protection products you may have remain operational. This message will be updated by 12:00 on 28/01/2026.
