Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible over the high tide on the evening of Thursday 6 November.
Areas particularly at risk include low lying coastal locations including St Ives Harbour, Portreath Harbour and the Causeway at Hayle. The high tide at St Ives on Thursday evening is at 17:25. Forecast total high tide level is 4.02mAOD.
Expect tide levels along the coast to be around 0.3m above tide table level. Force 1 easterly winds and offshore wave heights of 1.6m are forecast over the high tide. Coastal conditions should ease by Friday AM tide.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
