Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides, strong winds and large waves today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 05:00 to 11:30 and 16:30 to 23:00 tomorrow, 05/02/2026.
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths along the North Sea coast from Skipsea to Mappleton, including Hornsea.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
This message will be updated by 09:00AM on 05 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
