Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Carlton river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible to start at 11:00 today, 22/02/24. Areas most at risk are Gedling and Carlton, including Waverley Way, Tennesson Avenue and Brooklands Drive.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We expect river levels to rise until this afternoon on 22/02/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and follow advice from emergency services.
This message will be updated by 18:00 this evening, 22/02/24, or as the situation changes.
