Flooding expected. Take action now.
This message has been issued because some minor flooding to riverside roads and footpaths is likely to continue throughout today, Tuesday 7th November, and over the next few days. High water levels may last for a few days. This is due to a natural tide locking effect of the Broads river system and recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are Ridlington, Briggate, Honing, East Rushton, Dilham, Sutton, Catfield Common, Hickling, Potter Heigham, Ludham, Bastwick, Martham, Damgate and Billockby, and the A149 and A1062 roads. Take care on waterside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting the situation to escalate.
