Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides and forecast weather conditions are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning.
Flooding is expected from 7:30 AM on 27/01/2025.
Areas most at risk include Wareham Quay, Ridge, Redcliffe and Swineham areas.
Further flooding is expected tomorrow evening due to higher than normal tides combined with southerly force 8 winds.
We are closely monitoring the situation
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Don't put yourself or others at risk.
The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Poole Harbour of <1.91> mAODN at 9:15 AM on 27/01/2025, with south-westerly force 8 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
