Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels have fallen following yesterday’s heavy and persistent rainfall. Further rain is expected today, Tuesday 1/10/24. Whilst rivers may respond to this, we are not expecting levels to rise significantly. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Surface water may continue to affect low spots on roads. Please take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Areas most at risk are low-lying land and roads near rivers and the area around Endcliffe Park.
Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 16:10 on 01/10/2024 or as the situation changes.
