Property flooding is expected. River levels are falling on the River Ock but will remain responsive to rainfall over the coming days. Therefore, flooding of properties closest to the river is expected to continue today, 26/09/24, Areas most at risk are Nash Drive, Chaunterell Way, Mill Paddock, Orpwood Way and St Helens Mill. Further showers are forecast today (Thursday), with persistant rain expected on Friday.
Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. We are monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Don't drive through flood water. This message will be updated on Thursday evening, 26/09/24, or as the situation changes.
