Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but now dropping slowly on the River Ock following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue overnight 26/11/24. Areas most at risk are properties located on Nash Drive, Meadowside and Chaunterell Way.
The forecast is for further rainfall tonight (26/11/2024) into tomorrow. River levels are expected to continue dropping slowly overnight. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again in response to forecast rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 27/11/24, or earlier as the situation changes.
