Flood warning

Over the last 24 hours, heavy rain across River Ancholme catchment area has resulted in high river levels in the River Ancholme, which are expected to remain high throughout the night of Tuesday 24th October into Wednesday 25th October; in particular, during the morning tide of Wednesday 25th October. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. We are monitoring river levels and have staff in the field checking for and clearing blockages in this location. This message will be updated as the situation changes on Wednesday 25th October.
