Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause property flooding this evening. Flooding is expected from 6:00 PM on Sunday 5th January 2025.
Areas most at risk include properties on and around the Broadway Road.
Flooding is expected to continue overnight Sunday evening, 5th January 2025 into Monday morning, 6th January 2025 due to heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Activate any property flood protection products you may have. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Further light rainfall is possible overnight and into Monday 6th January 2025.
