Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Causey Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall and will remain high until Friday. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for land and property close to Rainford Brook. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue further flood warnings if necessary. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be tomorrow, Thursday 21st January or as the situation changes.
