River levels peaked on the Salfords Stream at 6am this morning and are now falling.

The risk of flooding has now passed, and no further significant rainfall is forecast. However, river levels are expected to remain high until this afternoon 26/02/2022. Please continue to avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.

Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
