Flood alert

River levels remain high today on the Salfords Stream.

Flooding of low lying land, roads and footpaths near to the rivers remains possible throughout today, 22 January 2026.

Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
