High tides and forecast weather conditions overnight may lead to flooding.
The highest tide level is expected to be at 12:42 AM on 19/10/2024 and flooding is possible 2 hours either side of this time.
Areas most at risk include Freckleton Marsh, Riversway Docklands, Lower Penwortham, Hutton Marsh, Longton Marsh, Becconsall Marsh, Much Hoole Marsh, Bretherton Eyes, Croston Finney, Hesketh Out Marsh and Hundred End.
The following high tide at 13:05 PM on 19/10/2024 is not expected to reach flood alert level.
We are closely monitoring the situation and checking flood defences.
Be careful along footpaths and roads and do not drive through flood water.
