Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising rapidly on the River Aire.
The area most at risk is Cottingley, including Beckfoot School on Wagon Lane, Ash Grove and Aire View Avenue.
Flooding of property is expected from approximately 12:00 PM today, 20/10/2023. Further rainfall is forecast throughout today and through the weekend.
River levels are expected to remain high. Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
