Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have peaked but remain high as a result of persistent (heavy) rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are upstream of Gargrave Bridge and the centre of Gargrave along the main road. The industrial site will also be affected, as well as the farmland and properties near to Mill Lane
River levels have peaked and will remain high throughout this afternoon, with further rain forecast today. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
