River levels are falling in the River Aire at Knottingley, although they will remain above a level at which we consider the need for a flood warning until the afternoon of 22nd October 2023. With no further, significant, rainfall forecast for 22nd and 23rd October 2023, we expect the situation to improve in relation to flood risk.
Our incident rooms remain open. This message will be updated by 17:15, 22/10/2023.
