River Aire at Mickletown

Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels have now fallen, however Mickletown Ings remains full. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland remains possible today, Wednesday 23/02/2022. The area most at risk is Mill Lane. The water levels in the Ings will remain high this afternoon (23/02/2022) but should begin to slowly drain over the next few days. Despite ongoing unsettled weather, we are not expecting any large rainfall amounts here, or higher up the catchment, over the next couple of days. We continue to closely monitor the situation. To report flooding, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60. This message will be updated by 21:00, 23/02/2022 or as the situation changes.
