Flood warning

River levels across the Aire Catchment have risen as a result of the persistent rainfall associated with Storm Christoph. Levels at Cottingley have continued to rise and are expected to peak at around 16:00pm (Thursday, 21/01/2020), but will remain high for the rest of the day (Thursday, 21/01/2021). Flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected. Our incident response staff are checking defences and we are closely monitoring the forecast. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and do not walk or drive through fast moving water. This message will be updated by 23:40 today, 21/01/2021, or as the situation changes.
