Flooding expected. Take action now.
Whilst washland levels remain high and flooding is still affecting some properties, levels in Snaith Ings continue to slowly fall and the risk of additional property flooding has reduced. The bank at East Cowick is not spilling. However, further rain is forecast in the upper catchments today and into Tuesday, which combined with high tides peaking on Wednesday, could result in washland levels beginning to rise again. We are continuing our pumping operations to create capacity ahead of this rain. Our staff are on site in daylight hours and our incident room remains open. Please check routes before you travel.
