Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Wingfield Park river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall and snow melt. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is possible between 05:00 and 10:00 today, 06/01/25.
Areas most at risk are Ambergate, along the A610, Riversdale Road.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to rise until Tuesday on 07/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water.
